The Scientific Benefits of Self-Compassion

It's incredibly easy to be hard on ourselves and criticize every minor flaw while holding ourselves up to unattainable standards. It's harder to take the time to be patient and understanding of yourself, but practicing self-compassion is one of the best tools to maintaining our overall well-being as Peace Corps Volunteers.
